Our cooperation partner, AFMP Fortbildungsinstitut GmbH, offers comprehensive training on the proper handling of our products.
The training courses are designed to provide you with the necessary knowledge and practical skills for the safe and correct application of SEGUFIX® systems.

This training is conducted by our partner, AFMP GmbH.
With the training courses on the subject of patient restraints, you have the opportunity to comply with your obligations as an operator according to §2 of the German Medical Devices Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV) by providing your users with the necessary training/knowledge.

Material Inspection (optional)
- Material inspection according to BfArM guidelines and SEGUFIX® safety instructions
Participants receive a SEGUFIX® training certificate as proof (up to 30 certificates included).
Theory Part

1. Legal Principles
- Consent: Patient with capacity to consent, legal guardian
- Self-defense: Defense against an attack
- Necessity: Balancing of legal interests, averting danger to patients or medical staff
- Judicial approval
- Recommendation of the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM)
- Safety regulations
2. Restraint Procedures
- Written medical order
- Restraint in case of imminent danger
- Application of measures restricting freedom
- Special duty of supervision
- Obtaining judicial authorization
3. Documentation
- Written documentation system (restraint standard)
- Reason, type, scope, duration, and monitoring of the restraint measure
- Control, sign-off
Practical Part
This training is conducted by our partner, AFMP GmbH.
Instruction on Performing a Restraint
- For the presentation, a room is required that is equipped with a nursing bed (with mattress, sheet, and pillow) and a wheelchair, as well as a person who is available for the demonstration, including a mobility demonstration.
- The training lasts approx. 2 hours.
- The necessary products for patient restraint are provided by AFMP GmbH.
- The practical part also offers the opportunity to practice techniques under guidance as needed.
- Training participants (max. 30 people, each additional person is charged €7.00 excl. VAT (€8.33 incl. VAT)):
Doctors, specialists, nursing managers, safety officers, teachers for nursing professions, others.
Material Inspection (Optional)
The material inspection is offered by our partner, AFMP GmbH.
Material inspection according to BfArM guidelines and SEGUFIX® safety instructions.
If you wish to have a material inspection according to the BfArM guidelines and the SEGUFIX® safety instructions, this must be registered before the event, stating the number of belts to be inspected.
The cost is €12.50 plus VAT for every 5 belts/items or part thereof.

The training fees include:
- Teaching of legal principles, restraint procedures, and documentation.
- Instruction in the practical application of patient restraints.
- Individualized SEGUFIX® training certificates (bulk delivery; subsequently requested certificates will be invoiced at €3.50 excl. VAT (€4.17 incl. VAT) per piece).
Payment Conditions and Data Protection
Due Date: Four weeks before the agreed training date.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be in writing. A withdrawal or rebooking up to 30 days before the event costs €20.00 excl. VAT (€23.80 incl. VAT). After this period, 50% of the training fee is due up to the 5th working day before the event. No refund is possible for later cancellations.
Data Protection: The personal data of the training participants will be stored for future information about AFMP training offers. The data will be deleted upon request. Data will not be passed on to third parties.
